The library holds 90 light shapers — everything that mounts in front of a head — plus the passive reflectors and diffusers that stand on their own. Use this page to find the shaper that matches the one in your studio, to see what size it can be stretched to, and to work out why an entry does not appear in your picker.
Applies to BASIC, STUDIO, CINEMA · The Gobo – Projector shaper is not available in BASIC.
How to read the tables
- Type names the family an entry belongs to: softbox (35 entries), reflector (16), octaform (13) or umbrella (12). The remaining 14 belong to none of them and leave the cell empty — among them the two that project an image, Gobo – Projector and Light Blaster.
- Size is the size printed on the real light shaper. Where the catalogue knows both, the metric and the imperial figure are given. 49 entries are measured by diameter, 35 by width and height, and 6 by diameter and length.
- Not every shaper fits every head. The mount decides: 21 entries are speedlight-only, 19 fit a studio flash or a Bowens-mount continuous head, 5 fit a studio flash alone, and 45 fit all three. If a shaper is missing from the picker of a selected light, that is the mount, not your edition.
- 72 of the 90 can be resized; the remaining 18 have one fixed size. A sized copy keeps the template’s measured light profile, so base yours on the catalogue size nearest to what you own.

Diffusers
Five panels that sit between a light and the model. Unlike a reflector, a diffuser can be aimed and target-locked.

Limits
- Light shapers are not a tab of their own. They sit in the LIGHTS tab of the library, under the filter Light Shapers. An entry missing from there has three possible causes, in this order: the mount of the selected head does not take it, its eye icon is off in the App Manager, or it is Gobo – Projector and you are running BASIC.
- The size in the table is the modelled size. Resizing an entry changes the shape of the light but not the measured profile behind it — for a size far from the catalogue entry, expect the falloff of the original.
- Names stay as they ship, in every interface language.
Troubleshooting
- My shaper is not in the list. Build it: pick the nearest catalogue entry, change its measurements and save it under your own name — see Add your own lights and light shapers.
- The picker shows fewer entries than this page. Check the mount of the head you selected, then the eye icons in the App Manager — and see Lighting problems.
